These big-as-a-house truck beds really set the bar as far as any so called "Monster Trucks" go.

As it turned out, these five mammoth beds sat along Transmountain Road awaiting the trucking team that would move them to mines in Northern Mexico or perhaps Southern New Mexico or Arizona.

These are just the latest of super wide loads that we have documented traveling along Artcraft Road through the valley.

The beds were made by Metro Trucking Company before Caterpillar started making beds for their huge trucks. Once Caterpillar began making these huge type of beds to fit their own mammoth trucks the market fell for others and Metro Trucking Company shifted to other products.
